Six-Unit Townhome Underpin

More than 100 micropiles and eight tiebacks to underpin six units of a townhome building, followed by drainage, concrete and cosmetic repairs.

The project

Six-Unit Townhome Underpin

Park Range Construction was awarded the contract to underpin six units in a multi-family townhome building using micropiles with underpinning plate brackets.

We installed more than 100 micropiles and eight tiebacks on the crawl-space grade beams, interior columns and garage and porch grade beams, to a depth of 45 feet. The repairs also included perimeter drains, re-voiding under the grade beams, and front porch and garage concrete removal and replacement.

Once the structural repairs were complete, our crews finished the interior and exterior cosmetic repairs: drywall, painting, door adjustments, window replacement and re-glazing, and siding and trim.
