Falcon Crane

In 2026, a new crane installation inside an existing warehouse in Monument, Colorado needed new foundations, and the work had to happen within the building.

Working for general contractor Elder Construction, Park Range installed 183 helical piles, 4½ inches in diameter, with ultimate capacities up to 136 kips, using an excavator inside the warehouse.

Because helical piles are screwed in rather than drilled or driven, the work produced virtually no spoils and little vibration inside the building, and each pile's capacity was verified by its installation torque.
